WINDOWS 11
With support for Windows 10 terminating on October 14, 2025, your laptops and workstations will require an upgrade to Windows 11. We have completed audits and recommendations for our solution partners and are collaborating to determine the devices that will permit upgrades and those that will require replacement.
WINDOWS 12 (24H2)
While specific requirements for Windows 12 are not yet officially available, it’s reasonable to anticipate that they will be similar or slightly more demanding than those for Windows 11. Microsoft has confirmed that the 2024 update of their operating system will be called 24H2, not Windows 12. The new OS is expected to have several new features, including improved security, AI-enabled features, and a new user interface. However, we recommend users wait to deploy the 24H2 Windows operating system.
MOVING FORWARD
Our recommendations will be based on the need to upgrade to Windows 11. However, if new laptops and/or workstations are required, our recommendations will also allow an upgrade to the 24H2 operating system. If you have a question about tan audit, please don't hesitate to call our office.
