Do you frequent the airport or coffee shop and use their wifi? Please be careful.

Many places may have older wifi standards that don't encrypt traffic or isolate devices on the same network. Threat actors can sit on the same public wifi as you and scan and log all the internet traffic. Important information can be deciphered and stolen.

Other threat actors deploy their local wi-fi signal to trick people into connecting to it, where they can again scan and log all the internet traffic. Only connect to wi-fi networks with a familiar name. The public wi-fi networks Dunewood installs are all encrypted with the latest wi-fi standards and offer device and network isolation so that each device gets its secure connection.

For all other networks, please consider using a VPN (virtual private network)
